BEGINNER YOGA- Learn to build a strong foundation, the basis of yoga, through hands on instruction and guided breath.
SENIOR YOGA- A gentle class for mature adults with focus on enhancing breathing, balance, coordination, strength, & flexibility while bringing peace into body, mind, spirit. Class begins with a short meditation and warm-up.
YOGA FLOW- Focus is on coordinating the asanas (poses) with the breath, flowing slowly from one asana to the other to build strength, flexibility, focus, balance & peace in body, mind, and spirit. Class begins with a short meditation and warm-up. Advanced beginner to Intermediate.
UNIVERSAL YOGA- A moderate paced class with each week bringing a different challenge. Focusing on mindfulness, empowering student's self-esteem, strength, openness, playfulness & creativity in their practice. Using muscular/organic energy, alignment and breath. All levels welcome.
GENTLE YOGA- Therapeutic in nature, this practice is designed to help you gain flexibility and strength, while immersing yourself in relaxation. Gentle yoga moves at a slower pace, allowing ample time to enjoy each pose. Coordinating breath with movement is emphasized.
PRENATAL-Prenatal yoga is a gentle practice in which postures are modified to support the changing needs of the expectant mother. In addition, you’ll learn breathing exercises and relaxation techniques that will help you feel better throughout your pregnancy and help prepare your body and mind for the challenges of labor, delivery and motherhood. Prenatal yoga can be practiced throughout all stages of pregnancy. No previous yoga experience is needed. *
CORE YOGA-A focus on strengthening the abdomen, shoulders & hips while relaxing the back. Class will begin with meditation, breathing and warm-up.
INTERMEDIATE YOGA- Meditation, breathing and warm-up begin this slow moving Hatha yoga class. Each pose is held for a few breaths to get in to the pose before moving on to the next. All poses flow.
SPINAL UNWINDING- Gentle yoga for relaxing the back and strengthening the surrounding muscles to create a flexible, strong back. Every class will begin with mediation, breathing and warm-up.
YOGA FOR ROUND BODIES- This gentle class will help you to embrace your curves as you focus on how your body feels. Enjoy the benefits of yoga as you practice prana (basic breathing techniques) & asanas (postures) in a variety of standing, seated, and lying positions. Intention is placed on cultivating and internal, meditative experience while stretching & challenging the body. All plus size bodies welcome! * We are currently taking registration for this class.
SLOW FLOW YOGA- A 60 minute continuous flow of slow moving postures. The class aims to relax and balance the mind and body, thereby boosting energy levels with poses held for a short period of time. Perfect for all levels who want to just go with the flow!
